UALR students now
have an alternative to waiting by their mailboxes for change checks
each semester. With UALR's new direct deposit system, change checks
and refunds from the University can be deposited into the student's
account. Students who register for direct deposit will have quicker
access to funds and no worries about checks getting delayed or lost
in the mail.
"This is a
convenience we can offer our students," said Bruce Anderson, Office
of Financial Services. "We hope they will take advantage of this
new service."
Registering for direct deposit is easy. Students simply log onto the
BOSS system and complete the registration
form. The registration is usually complete within 24 hours and students
are notified by e-mail when their accounts are set up for direct deposit.
The site has a
Frequently Asked Questions session that students can refer to if they
have questions while completing the registrations. Students who have
difficulty accessing BOSS or completing
the form should contact the Office of Financial Services, 569-3318,
or pick up a paper registration at the Cashier's Office.
